Training Programs
We believe performance-based training programs are the best way to prepare officers
for comprehensive service for your organization. That’s why we require strenuous
information-based training, supplemented with an extensive role-play curriculum
that demonstrates skill, augments appropriate behavior and deepens knowledge in
many different areas.
Training begins prior to assignment, after the screening and hiring process. Officers
complete a Pre-assignment Training Program, and attend Basic Training where they
learn site-specific Post Orders. This training gives officers a broad view to understanding
your business goals and environment in addition to their specific responsibilities.
Employee Handbook
This comprehensive document details Standard of Conduct, Scope of Authority and
internal policies. All employees acknowledge its contents in writing, promising
to adhere to these standards.
Pre-Assignment Training
This is critical foundation training that all employees must complete. Topics include
interpersonal communication skills, quality control, observation skills, relationships
with civil authorities, civil liabilities, and performance excellence, among other
topics.
Site-Specific Training
Specific training materials are developed based on your Needs Assessment and transition
plan and help prepare officers to integrate seamlessly into your organization. These
materials are delivered through performance-based techniques, targeting higher cognitive
thinking capabilities. Officers use their knowledge to analyze, synthesize, and
demonstrate appropriate responses to different situations.
These training programs incorporate your property’s Post Orders, providing detailed
instructions for quick reference. Security Directors routinely audit and improve
Post Orders.
